How Grade 10 Selection Works for Laikipia Learners

Your child ranks 12 schools across the four clusters, a rule the Ministry announced on 21 December 2025. In Laikipia that means mixing some of the 28 C1–C3 boarding schools with the 104 C4 day schools, rather than listing only the best-known names. Placement weighs KJSEA at 60%, Grades 7–8 school-based assessment at 20% and KPSEA at 20%. Pathway offerings are not in the Ministry list for Laikipia’s schools; confirm STEM, Social Sciences or Arts and Sports Science with each school first.
