CBC Guides gives Kenyan learners original, auto-marked CBC practice papers, holiday homework packs and revision books, all written to the KICD curriculum designs and checked by the CBC Guides team. Schools can work with us in one of two ways. Pick the one that suits your parents and your budget.
Option A · free for the school
Referral partner
20% of every parent subscription
Parents pay KES 500 a month for their own child. Your school earns KES 100 of it, every month, for every learner who joins through your link. You get a private page with sign-ups and earnings.

School licence
Every learner you add gets full access for 120 days, without each family paying. Teachers see every learner's scores on one dashboard.

Option A: become a referral partner
This costs the school nothing. You share your school’s link with parents on WhatsApp, in the newsletter or at a parents’ meeting. When a parent joins through it and pays for a Monthly Pass or Auto-renew (KES 500 a month), the school earns 20%, which is KES 100 per learner per month, paid monthly by M-Pesa. Every family also gets a 7-day free trial first, so nobody pays for something their child does not use.
You get a private partner page showing link visits, sign-ups, paying families and earnings. It shows totals only: we never share learners’ names or details with partners, and we never contact learners.
Option B: buy a school licence
If you would rather every learner had access without asking parents to pay, buy a licence for up to 100 or up to 300 learners. It runs for 120 days from payment, which covers the December holiday and most of Term 1 2027.
- Logins without emails. Type the learners’ names, one per line. We create a username and a short password for each and give you printable slips. No learner email or phone number is collected.
- Everything opens. Every online practice paper with the real-exam timer and worked answers, all six December holiday packs (Grades 4 to 9), the KJSEA and KPSEA revision books and the Grade 9 Pathway Report.
- A results register. Your dashboard lists every learner with papers done, average score, a guide band on the KJSEA 8-level scale and the last paper sat, plus class averages and averages per paper. Download it as a spreadsheet for staff meetings.
- Print-ready papers. The licence includes every practice paper as a clean A4 exam with your school name at the top, plus a separate marking scheme with an explanation for each answer. Use them for class tests or holiday assignments.
- Your data stays yours. Remove a learner at any time to free the seat. We do not market to learners and do not sell data.
Which option suits your school?
Referral suits schools where most parents already pay for revision materials and the school wants an income without a budget line. The licence suits schools that want every learner in a class covered, want to see results across classes, or plan to use the papers as holiday assignments. A learner covered by the licence is not also counted for referral commission, so the two never overlap.
Questions schools ask
Are your papers KNEC papers?
No. Every question is original CBC Guides material in the KNEC format, aligned to the KICD curriculum designs and checked by the CBC Guides team. We never resell KNEC papers or publishers’ books.
Can we try before paying?
Yes. Ask for a 14-day pilot for one class through our contact page, or have a teacher try the free questions on any revision paper first.
Can we pay by invoice or bank transfer?
Card and M-Pesa checkout run through Paystack. If your bursar needs an invoice instead, contact us with the number of learners.
What does holiday tuition law mean for this?
The materials are for home revision and class use during term. Holiday tuition is prohibited under section 37 of the Basic Education Act, 2013, and our holiday packs are designed for children to do at home with a parent, not for paid classes.
Checked by the CBC Guides team. Teachers can also buy a Teacher Pass for themselves.
