Nyahururu Elite Schools is a private school group in Nyahururu town, Laikipia County, next to Thomson’s Falls. It runs a nursery, a primary and junior school, and separate girls’ and boys’ high schools offering both the Kenyan curriculum and IGCSE. The group lists boarding facilities and school transport among its services. Its Grade 10 Fees Structure for 2026 is the document parents of the first CBC senior school class need. Everything below comes from it (Nyahururu Elite Grade 10 fee structure 2026, PDF), uploaded in November 2025. This page is accurate as of October 2026.

The document does not break the termly fee into tuition and boarding, and does not say whether boarding is included. Ask the school to confirm this in writing for your child’s school (girls’ or boys’).

First-Year Cost for a New Grade 10 Student

Fees 292,500 + CBC projects 15,000 + admission 10,000 + caution 10,000 + in-school uniform items 10,900 = KSh 338,400, before optional milk, cocoa and transport. This is our arithmetic from the published figures.

How to Pay

  • Option 1: Equity Bank, Nyahururu branch, Nyahururu Elite Schools Ltd, account 160291309943.
  • Option 2: Family Bank, Nyahururu branch, Nyahururu Elite Schools Ltd, account 23000020755.
  • Option 3: M-Pesa paybill 522123, account 25960K/ followed by the child’s admission number.

Cash and personal cheques are not accepted.

Payment Terms

  • Fees are payable in full on or before the first day of each term, and are not refundable once paid.
  • If at least 70% is not paid on the first day and no payment plan has been agreed, the school “reserves the right to send the child home”. The remaining 30% is due within 30 days.
  • Fees may be adjusted termly.
  • Sibling discount: a 5% rebate on school fees for the second child (terms and conditions apply).
  • Withdrawal needs a full term’s written notice while the student is in session. Otherwise the caution fee is forfeited.

How It Compares

As a private school, Nyahururu Elite is not bound by the public fee ceilings. A public boarding senior school may charge at most KSh 53,554 a year, and a public day school nothing (senior school fees 2026). The “send home” clause above is a private-school term. Public schools are told not to send students away over boarding fees. The KSh 5,000 termly CBC projects charge is a good example of how project costs appear on private fee structures (hidden CBC costs). For other private schools, see private CBC school fees and the fees hub.
