Nova Pioneer is a private school network whose Kenyan campuses, as listed on its fees page, are at Tatu City (Kiambu), Athi River (Machakos) and Eldoret (Uasin Gishu). In Eldoret it runs separate boys’ and girls’ secondary campuses, for junior school (Grades 7–9), CBE senior school (Grades 10–11) and the last 8-4-4 Form 4 class. Both campuses published 2027 School Fees Schedules on 8 September 2026, linked from Nova Pioneer’s fees page. The tuition and boarding fees are the same at both, so we cover them together and point out where the sheets differ. Sources: the Eldoret Boys schedule (PDF) and the Eldoret Girls schedule (PDF). Grade 11 is printed inconsistently. The Eldoret Boys full-boarding table shows KSh 168,200 in Term 1, then KSh 156,200 in Terms 2 and 3 (KSh 480,600 a year). Every other Grade 11 table, on both sheets, shows KSh 168,200 each term but a yearly total of KSh 504,500, although 3 × 168,200 is 504,600. Before paying, ask the campus which figure is right. The two readings differ by KSh 24,000 a year.
Grade 8 costs KSh 18,000 a term more than Grade 7, the biggest step. The CBE weekly-boarding and day options stop at Grade 11. Form 4 students must be full boarders.

The boys’ sheet labels the day learners’ charge “Boarding”, and the girls’ sheet labels it “Meals”. The amount is the same. Full boarding costs KSh 8,800 a term more than weekly boarding.
What a Year Costs: Full Boarding Examples, KSh
- Grade 7: 189,300 in Term 1, then 186,300 a term = 561,900 (or 506,010 paid in advance).
- Grade 10: 220,400 + 217,400 + 217,400 = 655,200 (or 589,980 in advance).
- Form 4: 230,300 + 227,300 + 227,300 = 684,900 (or 616,710 in advance). Form 4 students must clear their Term 3 fees in full before they report for the term.
- Grade 7 day learner: 151,900 + 148,900 + 148,900 = 449,700 (or 405,030 in advance).
All these published totals add up. The advance column is labelled “includes 10% discount on tuition”, but the figures take 10% off boarding and meals too (185,100 becomes 166,590). Paying a Grade 10 boarder’s year by 30 December 2026 saves KSh 65,220.
Other Costs, KSh
- New students: caution fee 10,000 (refundable with one term’s notice), enrolment fee 5,000, student ID 500.
- All students: administration fee 1,040 a year. Clubs fee 1,500 and sports fee 1,500 (per term on the girls’ sheet; the boys’ sheet gives no frequency). School-community events 3,000 (billed in Terms 1 and 2 at the boys’ campus; per term at the girls’).
- Compulsory annual academic trip: 20,000 to 60,000.
- Grade 9, Grade 11 and Form 4: Motisha programme (booster sessions, Saturday academy) 7,000 (per term on the girls’ sheet). Grade 9 and Form 4: graduation fee 10,000. Form 4: two-night capstone experience 20,000.
- Optional clubs, for example music 6,600, robotics 10,100, German 13,000, aviation 22,500, coding 11,500, golf 10,000, vendor sports 8,900–12,000.
These extras add up. A Grade 9 girl with clubs, sports, events, Motisha, graduation and a mid-priced trip could add about KSh 90,000 to the year. That is our rough arithmetic, using the per-term frequencies shown on her sheet.
Deadlines and How to Pay
- 2027 deadlines: Term 1 by 2 January 2027, Term 2 by 22 April 2027, Term 3 by 19 August 2027. Annual option by 30 December 2026.
- M-Pesa paybill 818319, with your child’s six-digit account number. Or bank transfer or deposit to Nova Pioneer Kenya Limited, I&M Bank, Sarit Centre, account 00301817421250, with the account number first in the reference. Cash and cheques are not accepted.

How It Compares
A Grade 10 full boarder here costs KSh 655,200 a year, against at most KSh 53,554 a year at a public boarding school (government senior school fees). Nova Pioneer’s own Tatu City campuses charge KSh 191,400 a term for Grade 10 tuition, KSh 35,700 more than Eldoret. Younger children can attend Nova Pioneer Eldoret Primary.
