Castle Academy is a private CBC day school in Guango Estate on the Mucatha–Banana Road, on the Kiambu side of Nairobi’s northern edge (postal address P.O. Box 5376-00100, Nairobi). It runs from playgroup to Junior School. Its website carries a 2026 Junior School fee structure (reference CA/FS/2026/R4, created April 2026) and, since early October 2026, new 2027 Junior School and 2027 playgroup-to-Grade 6 structures. We cover all three, because parents choosing a school for January 2027 need the new figures. This page is accurate as of October 2026.

Tuition includes break and lunch. The same rate applies every term, so a year costs KSh 126,000 in 2026 and KSh 129,000 in 2027, a rise of about 2.4%. An optional evening snack costs KSh 3,000 a term.

These are the 2027 rates, again including break and lunch. The school’s current site links only the 2025 and 2027 primary structures, so we do not quote 2026 primary fees here. KG1 and crèche children wear home clothes with a school apron (KSh 1,500).

Fees exclude stationery, textbooks and exercise books. The school gives a list. Tuition covers non-paying clubs such as IT literacy, drama and debate.
Clubs and Music (Optional, per Term), KSh
Coding 6,000; chess 6,000; skating 7,000; dance and fitness 5,000; football 5,000; ballet 6,000. Swimming is free. Private lessons in piano, drums, violin or guitar cost 6,000 each, and a child may take one instrument per term. The school recommends staying with an instrument for at least three terms. Clubs and instrument rates are the same in 2026 and 2027.

Discounts
Discounts apply to tuition only: 5% for a second child and 7% for subsequent children, for as long as the siblings are in school, and 20% for enrolling a referred child. Paying a full year before the first day of Term 1 earns 10% in both years. The early-payment discount for clearing all fees five days before a term opens drops from 7.5% in 2026 to 3% in 2027, which is worth knowing if you relied on it.
How to Pay
- Kenya Commercial Bank, Two Rivers branch, account 1266556990, Castle Academy Limited; or
- M-Pesa paybill 522123, account “82439K” followed by a space and the pupil’s name (for example “82439K John Mark”).
Cash is not accepted. Drop deposit slips at the school with the pupil’s name and class. New students pay the full fee on admission, and fees are due by opening day. One term’s notice is required for a transfer, and money paid is non-refundable.
A First-Year Example
A new Grade 7 learner in 2027 would pay KSh 129,000 tuition + 6,000 application and admission + 3,850 maintenance and evacuation cover = KSh 138,850, before books, uniform, clubs and transport. With two-way Zone B transport (KSh 44,700 a year), the total is about KSh 183,550. This is our arithmetic.
