About this paper
It follows the real paper’s four sections: ufahamu (15 marks), ufupisho (15 marks), matumizi ya lugha (40 marks) and isimujamii (10 marks). That’s 80 marks in 2 hours 30 minutes. The first five questions are free. Learners unlock the rest, the timer and the full review with explanations.

What This Practice Covers, And What It Doesn’t
Our paper has an original passage on digital loans for ufahamu, an original passage on mangroves at the Coast for ufupisho, 20 matumizi ya lugha items (sauti, mofimu, ngeli, mnyambuliko, usemi wa taarifa, uchanganuzi wa sentensi and more) and 5 isimujamii items. In the real 102/2 you write your answers. You write the summary in your own words within a word limit, and you rewrite or analyse sentences in full. A computer can’t mark that fairly, so here you choose the best answer. Use this paper to sharpen your accuracy, then practise writing full answers and get feedback from your teacher.
Vidokezo Vya Haraka (Quick Tips)
- Ufahamu: jibu kwa maneno yako mwenyewe na kwa sentensi kamili. Swali la alama 2 linahitaji hoja mbili au hoja na maelezo.
- Ufupisho: andika hoja kuu tu, acha mifano, na usizidishe idadi ya maneno uliyopewa. Hesabu maneno yako.
- Matumizi ya lugha: ndiyo sehemu yenye alama nyingi zaidi (40). Zingatia ngeli, upatanisho wa kisarufi, ukanushaji, usemi wa taarifa na mnyambuliko wa vitenzi.
- Isimujamii: taja sifa za sajili husika (hospitali, soko, mahakama, dini) na utoe mifano.
Pacing 102/2
A sensible split for 2 hours 30 minutes: about 30 minutes for ufahamu, 30 for ufupisho, 65 for matumizi ya lugha and 15 for isimujamii, leaving about 10 minutes to check spelling and agreement.
