Day 1 of 7 — Mathematics (19 October 2026)
- Grade 6 Maths mini-paper — 10 questions, 15 minutes (KPSEA pitch).
- Grade 9 Maths mini-paper — 10 questions, 15 minutes (KJSEA pitch).
The first five questions on each mini-paper are free with worked answers. Learners unlock all ten, the timer and the full review. Want a longer warm-up first? Try the CBC Challenge (also ten questions) or start the 7-day free trial — no card needed while Paystack finishes approval.
KJSEA and KPSEA are underway across Kenya this week. Each day from 19 to 25 October 2026 we publish a fresh 10-question timed mini-paper you can finish in about 15 minutes — short enough for after supper, hard enough to show what still needs work before the next paper.
About these papers
Day 1 is Mathematics for Grade 6 and Grade 9. Come back tomorrow for Day 2.
Share Day 1: text a parent or classmate this page, or copy: “Day 1 of 7 — 10 Maths questions in 15 minutes on CBC Guides. Free first five.” No new app and no paid tool required. If growth email tips are on for your account later, you can also start the free trial so you do not miss a day.
How To Use A 15-Minute Set
Treat it like a real exam: phone away, timer on, no peeking at notes. When you finish, read every explanation — even the ones you got right — and write down the two topics that cost you marks. Those two topics are tomorrow morning’s five-minute revision before school. Seven days of that habit beats one long weekend of cramming, and it fits around full past papers in the afternoon.
Parents: sit with your learner for the first set so the routine sticks. Ask them to teach you one method (for example, “of means multiply”). Teaching is the fastest check that they understood the explanation.
The Rest Of The Week
Days 2–7 will add more mini-papers (subjects rotate). Bookmark this hub and check back each evening. We will not email you unless you have opted in through the trial or challenge flows already on the site — no new mailing list was built for this series.
Full Practice Papers
When you have a longer slot, sit a full paper: KPSEA Grade 6 Mathematics, KJSEA Grade 9 Mathematics, English and science papers on the grade hubs, or the whole revision papers index. KCSE candidates revising early should use KCSE past papers.
Why Fifteen Minutes Still Counts In Exam Week
Full papers matter, but they take two hours and a quiet room. Mini-papers catch careless slips — sign errors, mixed units, forgotten formulae — that cost easy marks on the real day. Use Day 1 tonight, Day 2 tomorrow, and keep your full KPSEA or KJSEA papers for weekend mornings when you can sit the real length. If a mini-paper exposes a topic you have not revised all term, open your notes that evening; do not wait for the weekend.
Teachers and parents can treat the series as a shared routine: same time each evening, phone in another room, score written on the fridge. Consistency beats intensity this close to the papers.
