Parents across Kenya already find tutors through WhatsApp groups and word of mouth. This directory puts the same search in one place: by county, subject and grade, with in-person and online options. It is free for tutors and parents.
Mwalimu wa ziada · Tutor directory
Find a CBC tutor near you, or teach the learners next door.
A free directory of home and online tutors for PP1 to Grade 12 and IGCSE. Every profile is checked by a person before it appears. Tutors set their own rates and parents deal with them directly. CBC Guides does not employ tutors or take a commission.
The directory has just opened.
No tutor profiles are live yet. We will not fill this page with made-up tutors. Real profiles appear here as soon as we have checked them.
Tutors: be among the first tutors listed. It is free.
Parents: read how to choose a CBC tutor and what tutors charge in Kenya while the list grows.
Safety first
Meet a new tutor with an adult present, ask for a copy of their ID and any TSC registration, agree the rate and schedule in writing, and pay per session or per week, not months in advance. CBC Guides checks that each profile looks genuine before it goes live, but we do not run background checks. Read how to choose a CBC tutor before you hire.
