Give two reasons why marriage was valued in traditional African communities.
Answer: It ensured continuity of the clan through children, and it created bonds between families.

State three ways Christians can fight corruption.
Answer: Refuse to give or take bribes, report corrupt practices, and teach honesty in church and at home.
Question 3
Give three roles of elders in traditional African communities.
Answer: Settling disputes, leading rituals and teaching the young community values.
Question 4
State three Christian teachings on work.
Answer: Work is ordained by God, it should be done diligently, and workers should be paid fairly.
Question 5
Give two ways the church helps people with HIV and AIDS.
Answer: Providing counselling and care, and supporting education on prevention.

On the day of CRE Paper 2
Wednesday 11 November 2026, 8.00 to 10.30 am. Be seated 15 minutes early. Carry blue or black pens, a pencil, a ruler and a rubber. Read the whole paper in the first five minutes and mark the questions you will answer first. Leave the last ten minutes to check your answers and that your index number is on every page you hand in.

No. Papers sold online before the exam are scams, and holding them is an exam irregularity that can lead to cancelled results (see KCSE exam rules).
