Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to sponsor a learner?
KSh 1,500 (about $12) covers one learner for a year. Five learners cost KSh 7,000 and a class of 40 costs KSh 39,000.
Who receives the sponsored places?
Partner schools and teachers nominate learners who cannot pay. You can name a preferred county at checkout.
Will I see the children?
No. To protect children, the impact report shows totals only: seats activated, quizzes completed, average improvement and certificates. It never shows names or photos.
Is this a donation to a charity?
No. CBC Guides is an education company, not a registered charity, so payments are not tax-deductible. You are buying a year of access for a learner.
